All Around GREAT!

I obtained quotes from a few different movers in the area. Around Town Movers was priced competitively, but a little higher per hour than some of the quotes. However, the Eric and the individuals answering the phone clearly knew what they were talking about and had prompt answers for all my moving-related questions. Some of the competitors either weren’t sure or had to call me back with answers. Secondly, Around Town Movers providers protection on floors, etc. at no cost. When I asked this question to the mover with the lowest cost – they responded that floor protection would be an added cost.

I hired Around Town Movers to load a rental truck. They were given a 30-minute window to arrive, and arrived very promptly. I hired a 3-man crew, and they completed the job on my 3 bedroom, 3 story townhome in just over 4 hours, including the time in the beginning for the walk-through and time to install/remove all flooring protection. Prior to their arrival, we had packed about 75 percent of our belongs into boxes, but much of the furniture needed to be wrapped up and/or disassembled.

They did an exceptional job protecting my belongings with plastic wrap (at no cost) and moving blankets. They are also experts in loading the truck – I rented a 26′ truck worried that we wouldn’t have room for all our of “stuff,” but after Around Town Movers loaded the truck, I probably had a good 6 feet of space left over! We haven’t unpacked our boxes yet, but upon arrival we checked out the cargo and absolutely nothing shifted.
