I've used Around Town Movers twice in the past year and both times, they have been great. The company is very customer oriented and they went to great lengths to accommodate all of my needs. The movers were very professional and handled my items with a lot of care. I even received a discount for being a repeat customer. Great company, highly recommended!

Special Thanks for all the help over the Holidays moving my family into our new house. The team arrived on time, and worked very hard throughout the day. More importantly they took the time and care to make sure my belongings were handled professionally/properly. Sofas, tables, pictures, and mirrors were wrapped in blankets and quickly loaded into the truck. We performed a local move and paid by the hour, and I was extremely please with how efficient the team worked. Town home to Single Family Home in less than (5) hours! Our Two movers were efficient, careful with our furniture and very professional. We felt they did an excellent job.

The team was really good. They showed up right on time, were extremely professional and, best of all, did a great job. They really hustled and I didn't feel like they wasted one second. I was very satisfied with Around Town Movers. They made my whole move very easy from start to finish. In the office they were quick and efficient, and always got back to me quickly. On move day, the movers showed up right on time, were quick, efficient, handled all my items with care, and were nice. I couldn't ask for more from Around Town Movers, and will use them when I move again in a year!

This company recently did a small job for me - one item. The price was very reasonable, but what really impressed me about them was their professionalism, and how quickly they got the job done. They moved my item from Herndon, Virginia to Bowie, Maryland and did it in record time. I will definitely use them again.

Thank you for sending two of your best professionals to Greensboro, NC this past Monday.  While I can't spell his name, Alipo and Juan were amazing in how efficiently they worked, and how thoughtfully and carefully they carried each item up 2 flights of stairs!  They never touched a wall of my sister's home, or damaged any piece of furniture or upholstery.  They made the last leg of a good, but extended move, very pleasant and painless!  I was so impressed with their efforts and attitude - I almost hated to see them leave!  Bobby's long and unexpected trip down from Chantilly, to bring the balance of items, was more evidence of the company's professionalism.  All of "your" movers had an exceptionally good attitude....even at the end of a long Monday. Hiring your company was a smart move for me! Thank you for all your consideration and diligence.

I never post anything on the Internet but please feel free to use my comments without identifying me by my last name.  I couldn’t let the opportunity go by to let you know that the service I received was fantastic.  From beginning to end, everything was handled in a timely and conscientious way.  My move was especially difficult because it was an urgent move due to water and black mold.  It was also made difficult by the volume of boxes I had and because some of the boxes from a previous move were damaged and had to be repackaged.  We encountered soggy carpeting and moldy walls; some areas of water damaged furniture; and bugs.  Throughout, nothing fazed the guys and they even noticed when a couple of furniture legs needed to be tightened which they took care of.  After securing and protecting all of my furniture, they put everything back together perfectly and assisted with placing everything where it needed to go.  When I ran out of time and energy to finish packing clothing, food, and cleaning items, they stepped in and took care of it.  For two days, I saw these three men work their hearts out.  I gave them $70 each which is all the cash I had on hand, but they were worth more. They also were helpful when they discarded any number of boxes that I was able to unpack as they brought things into my new residence.  As you know, they also discarded the damaged bookcases, thereby saving me additional time and money. I have already recommended your company to several people and when I get back to work next week, I will continue to mention the excellent service I received.  I hope to use your company some years down the road when I return to Florida.  At that time, I will be much better prepared for my move and I will be moving into a home of my own.  In the meantime, I couldn’t have asked for better support under very trying circumstances.  The concern and help I received took away some of the stress of moving - I didn’t feel like I was all alone with an insurmountable task.
