I highly recommend using Around Town Movers for local moves. We have used them on two local moves and are extremely satisfied. The movers were friendly and professional and took great care in protecting our furniture and the homes we were moving out of and into. We felt the cost was reasonable. We did not use them to pack boxes--we did those ourselves. I would use them again in any future move.

I have had 2 experiences with Around Town Movers. The first move was stellar! The 3-man team was efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They arrived on time and knew that I was on a budget so they made every effort to complete everything as quickly as possible, which was over and beyond their responsibility. Everything went perfectly and I was so impressed that I called upon Eric again a year later. Although this second time wasn't quite as perfect, my concerns were addressed and everything turned out fine. Eric and Dale are great! They really understand what customer service is all about and go out of their way to make folks happy. I definitely recommend this company and will call upon them a 3rd time if needed. I'm so happy with the way my move went. The 4 men I had were very good, efficient, fast, and with great care moved my items. Still, 3 hours didn't do it. So I had a separate garage from the building that my apartment is in, and the crew did a fantastic job.

Our 2 movers that showed up did a great job. They arrived early and stayed until the job was complete. I was especially impressed when they successfully moved our huge entertainment center to our basement when we had only 2 inches of clearance between the furniture and the ceiling. Thank you for helping us move.

We are very happy with our move,  worth the money. They are very responsive, attentive and very easy to work with.
