Terrific Movers! - from the paperwork for a 12/7/2018 move.

I needed to move on short notice an old antique piece. I contacted Allan and he was able to schedule the move for the next morning. The movers that came were on time, efficient, professional and caring. Thank you for resolving my problem.

Marco and his crew worked hard to the end moving our household furniture and stuff from our storage units to our townhouse. And they did it all in heat indices exceeding 105. I really appreciated their hard work. The services were great for the price.

I have used this company to move from old house to a new one. I did the move in two different days. The first one went fine they tell their employ to work as slow as possible to guarantee an eight hours from to the new address. Their handling was very good. I told the company that i need the same team for the next trip. I was surprised that they bring a different team and when I called the office they told me that the other team is somewhere else and I have to accept this team They worked fast at the old house but they started to slow down on the new house. I found that after they leave they forget to install a glass shelved to an expensive unit. I called four days in a raw no one gave me an answer. At the end they were surprised why i am frustrated. And they offer a reimbursement and i have to go buy my own shelves. I dont know how they are still in the business. Their customer service is below expecation. Their prices not lower than any other movers . This is the first time I have used them and i will never recommend them to any one else.

I have used them twice in the past 6 months and the first move was great and my most recent move was even BETTER!! Carlos and the Crew are always on time, very professional, clean up after themselves and (maybe most important) they have an expert who can take apart my Massage Chair and Treadmill and put them back together correctly! I'm a LYFT Driver and whenever a rider mentions an upcoming move, I suggest Around Town Movers.

Very BAD and disappointing service! Unprofessional! I would NOT recommend Around Town Movers at all. not hire ‘Around Tow Movers’ at all. I hired ‘Around Town Movers’ to move my stuff from DC to Bethesda. The company sent me two men. They were supposed to let me know (at least 30 minutes before their arrival) that they were on the way. But they called me once they reached my place. One of the guys was not interested in the job at all and he worked as slow as possible. In the middle of loading, he would take out his phone and browse the web, play music. He made sure that the loading/unloading take longer than it was supposed to take. As they get paid on hourly basis, he worked at a very slow pace. As a result, a job that should have taken max 3 hours ended up taking 4 hours. To make it worse, they charged me for the time starting their arrival at my apartment (even though they did not call me 30 minutes in advance). When I called the company and complained, the staff were on a defensive mode and did not want to concede any mistakes. No apologies. Terrible service indeed. Amateurish!
